Expressive, diverse and full of contrasts: In September 2022, the St. Gallen textile editor Christian Fischbacher presented a journey between thousand-year tradition and contemporary design in the InteriorGallery: "The Contemporary Persia Collection by Hadi Teherani", the joint textile collection with the well-known Iranian-German Architects and designers Hadi Teherani from Hamburg were at the center of this event in Zurich's industrial district.
The expressive curtain and upholstery fabrics document the unique variety of the long and rich tradition of the country between the Caspian Sea and the Persian Gulf with elegant and sophisticated designs. Creative director Camilla Fischbacher and Hadi Teherani, both born in Iran, combine transnational history, vision and craftsmanship in this unique textile collection.
