Né à Nimègue et maintenant jeune de 36 ans, Frans Peelen est entré dans le monde fascinant de l'éclairage en 2010. Il a commencé sa carrière dans le commerce de détail, mais a rapidement changé de cap vers Philips Lighting en 2012, qui est devenu plus tard Signify. Au cours de son mandat de 11 ans chez ce leader de l'industrie, Frans a occupé divers postes de vente, tant pour l'éclairage intérieur qu'extérieur. Des projets prestigieux pour des clients comme Heineken et la Johan Cruijff Arena ne sont que quelques-uns des moments forts de son impressionnante carrière.
Mais ce qui a rendu son temps chez Signify vraiment inestimable, c'est le vaste réseau qu'il a construit entre installateurs, consultants, designers d'intérieur et architectes. Sa passion pour l'éclairage a été intensifiée par des projets saisissants et des intérieurs luxueux. Comme le dit Frans lui-même, « La lumière est une expérience, et avec la lumière, vous pouvez ajouter de la valeur à un espace. »
