Based in the city of Antwerp in Belgium, Bruder & Co is a family owned and run textile house that has been operating since 1988. Now managed by Alexandra Bruder, her father originally started the company with a focus on exquisite handcrafted textiles in textural weaves and simple patterns.
Bruder is made up of a small, dedicated team that will always ensure their customers and partners feel that they are part of the Bruder Family. Alexandra draws inspiration from travel, fashion and her own personal taste, and over the past 15 years have expanded to producing custom, handmade rugs in Nepal and India, each one holding unique beauty.
Despite evolving trends and market fluctuations, Bruder & Co remains steadfast in upholding the values that have defined the company since its inception. The integrity and quality of the yarn they use, combined with their expert craftsmanship, continue to speak for themselves, while their innovative designs complete the story. In the early days of Bruder Fabrics, one of their most emblematic customers was Axel Vervoordt, a visionary who redefined standards in interior design. Bruder & Co had the privilege of serving as a major fabric supplier for his projects, which also opened doors to numerous exclusive collaborations.
Today, the company partners with some of the most renowned interior designers worldwide. From Belgium’s own Vincent Van Duysen to leading designers from Paris, London, New York, and beyond, Bruder & Co maintains its reputation as a trusted supplier for the best in the industry.

Adding to their charm is the authenticity of the woven fabric that allows the pattern to be driven by the type of weave, yarn, or color. Since we work with natural fibres, imperfections are part of the game.
Our products are woven on very old mills and our rugs are completely handmade. This contributes to the charm and the uniqueness of the product. We always tell that to our customers.
